Announcing the release of
"Round My Door
‘Round My Door finds Dana delving ever deeper into his visions of the American landscape. Songs such as “Everett Ruess,” “’Round My Door,” “Cotton From The Clay” and “Watercolor Eyes” highlight Dana’s ability to “…paint with words images so arresting they seem three dimensional” (Rock and Reel), while songs like Woody Guthrie’s “Pastures of Plenty” and the old-time tune “Glory in the Meeting House” are a nod to their traditional influences. The arrangements are classic Dana & Susan Robinson with the guitar and banjo front and center and smatterings of percussion, mandolin, piano, and steel and electric guitar around the edges.
